At LES, our mission goes beyond coordinating off-duty law enforcement, we’re committed to strengthening the relationship between officers and the communities they serve. That’s why we were proud to sponsor this year’s AJPD Youth Academy, and even prouder to hear how much of an impact it made.
Our donation helped provide food and drinks for the kids on one of the academy days, a small contribution that went a long way in making the week feel special for every participant. According to AJPD, this year’s academy was a huge success, giving a great group of kids the chance to have fun, learn about law enforcement, and build genuine, positive relationships with officers throughout the week.
This is exactly the kind of impact LES strives to make. Programs like the Youth Academy don’t just teach kids about the badge, they build trust, and connection between young people and the officers who protect their neighborhoods. When we support programs like this, we’re investing in safer, stronger communities for the long term.
We’re grateful to AJPD for the opportunity to be part of something so meaningful, and for their kind words recognizing our support. It’s partnerships like this, between LES and the law enforcement agencies we work with, that remind us why this work matters.
LES will continue to seek out opportunities to support the agencies and communities we serve, because when officers and the youth in their communities build these connections early, everyone benefits.
